The Seasons of Lake View

A PROMOTIONAL BOOKLET CASE STUDY

Opened in 1870 and modeled after the great garden cemeteries of Boston, Cincinnati, and the famous Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, Lake View Cemetery occupies 300 acres in the “Heights” to the east of Cleveland, overlooking Lake Erie. Long heralded as one of the most beautiful such properties in the US, it combines a varied terrain, including natural lakes and streams, with strategic planting of ornamental bushes, native hardwoods, and significant architecture.

Foster Design was tasked to create an image book that would raise awareness of the natural beauty of the property throughout all four seasons of the year. A wide selection of photographs taken over the years by talented staffers was made available to us from which to choose. We paired the imagery with appropriate passages of poetry, making the booklet a valued promotional piece.
